Drifter Dan 

Inspired by the natural beauty of Tofino Canada's rugged coastline, Drifter Dan combines this love of nature with objects and wood salvaged from discarded fences and other found materials. Artistic frames, home decor and funky indoor/outdoor furniture are samples of Drifter Dan's creations. Some of Drifter Dan's frames also showcase original and prints of watercolour paintings by local artist Nathan Murray who's work is inspired by the landscapes of British Columbia.

On Friday, November 6th we a little pop-up at The Handpicked Home. Thank you Piya!  It was awesome to see a newly opened shop support handmade and local products. It was also great that she gave us the opportunity to give White Rock a sneak peek of the handmade goodness that you will be able to find at the Holiday Market.

I love to make things. Sometimes I knit, sometimes I crochet, sometimes I sew, sometimes I paint, sometimes I am making whatever catches my fancy ...it just depends on my latest inspiration. I do seem to lean towards all things rustic and have a certain love for all things chalkboard. Babayaya's Creations is a collection of those things. Right now it is stocked with hand painted rustic signs made from repurposed wood and sweet hand painted small canvases.

We are a Vancouver. BC, Canada based company that started out selling our Gourmet Blended Sea Salts at the local Farmer's Market and Retail Stores. We have since expanded into our line of Smoked Salts, Peppers, Garlic, Paprika and Jalapeno Peppers. Our line now consists of over 20+ Salt Blends all using organic ingredients. We do not use any anti-caking chemicals, No MSG or liquid smoke. We are also known for our Salted Caramels in Chocolate Chili, London Fog, Chai Latte to name a few.

Good Things

A new store opened up in White Rock called The Handpicked Home. It's a beautiful store full of handpicked treasures. "A lovely escape into a distinctive lifestyle shopping experience, meant to evoke nostalgia and warmth through each item and design".  We are doing a collaboration with them and we will be have a pop-up shop on November 6th. We will be showing casing a few of the market vendors. Giving you a sneak peek of the up coming Holiday Market. Why not come down and take a boo!
